Maria Expósito Lorido is a healthcare and life sciences strategy leader with more than a decade of experience across CROs, pharmaceutical services, real-world evidence, HealthTech, and venture investment. Her background includes global clinical programme leadership across Phase I-IV and real-world evidence, supporting global development programmes across AMER, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, as well as strategic business solutions focused on healthcare data and AI-enabled transformation. Before founding Virelis Partners, Maria held leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Parexel and served as a Venture Partner at VU Venture Partners. Her work focuses on connecting technology decisions with clinical operations, evidence, organisational adoption, sponsor needs, and sustainable commercial value.
